We are excited to announce that Association of Flight Attendants-CWA President Sara Nelson will join us at the Oregon AFL-CIO's 2025 Oregon Labor Organizing Summit in Portland on June 17!
Also a member of the AFL-CIO Executive Council, Nelson is a an incredible organizer, termed "America's Most Powerful Flight Attendant" by the New York Times for her role in helping to end the 35-day government shutdown in 2019, and has helped champion some of the most significant legislation in AFA's history.
This event is a critical opportunity for union members, leaders, and staff to learn from experts and workers about the most effective tactics and strategies for organizing workers and building strong unions.
The Summit is a one-of-a-kind event featuring presentations from national experts like Nelson and LaborLab Founder and Executive Director Bob Funk on union organizing, engaging panel discussions, skill-building workshops, and space for Oregon unionists to meet each other and network.
REGISTRATION This event is limited to union members, leaders, and staff of labor organizations. Please email us at communications@oraflcio.org to request a registration link.
