Oregon AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Aida Aranda passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2023 and her sudden departure has left a void in the Oregon Labor Movement. As Training Director for the Oregon & S. Idaho Laborers-Employers Training Trust, Aida poured her heart and soul into her passion, union apprenticeships. She strengthened the Oregon AFL-CIO as our Secretary-Treasurer and we are truly saddened by her loss. Our thoughts are with her family during this incredibly difficult time.
