In the past few months, the Oregon AFL-CIO has added three new positions to our organization, adding capacity for our communications, organizing, and political programs!
Aurora Biggers, Communications Specialist

Aurora joins the Oregon AFL-CIO after working as the Communications Director & Research Specialist for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 701. Prior to her union work, she covered labor, housing, and local governance for local news organizations. She maintains a monthly labor column in Street Roots.
Rajeev Ravisankar, Organizing & Research Specialist

Rajeev joins the Oregon AFL-CIO after serving as the President of the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation, AFT Local 3544, at the University of Oregon. Rajeev has experience in journalism as an editor and educator, and his research interests focus on labor organizing in the news industry. He is currently completing a doctorate in Media Studies at UO, and serves as trustee for the Pacific Northwest Labor History Association.
Lindsey Sadlou, Statewide Political Organizer

Lindsey joins the Oregon AFL-CIO after building the volunteer program for the historic Equal Rights for All ballot initiative as the Associate Director of Campaigns with the ACLU of Oregon.
