2022 Primary Election Results

The Oregon AFL-CIO ran a robust field and communications campaign through the Labor 2022 Primary Election campaign, winning federal, state, county and local elections across Oregon. The Labor 2022 campaign’s power comes from union members talking to fellow union members and likely voters about the importance of voting for Oregon Labor-endorsed candidates. Conversations with voters happened on the doors during canvasses, on the phones, and at worksites and were bolstered by direct mail, letters and online communications.


Although several key races lost by just a handful of votes, given the difficult electoral climate of 2022, we know that these races were so close only because the Oregon Labor Movement helped turnout pro-labor voters. Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished together during the Labor 2022 Primary Election campaign:
