The following information was compiled from legislative voting records, responses to written questionnaires and interviews, and public records which indicate the representatives' positions on issues of importance to working families. Based on this information, more than 300 union delegates to the Oregon AFL-CIO convention voted to forward to you their findings. They include bills that affected such issues as: prevailing wage, minimum wage, family leave, 8-hour day and overtime, contracting out jobs, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, collective bargaining and union rights, and funding of road and bridge maintenance.
